Our 1st Challenge
Since each of our work
will be posted on a page,
I think we should start off with something
that tells a little bit about ourselves.
Keep in mind,
it can take any form and does not have to be a poem.
All About Me
My Name is Kellie and I am from the land down under.
I was born in sunny Brisbane and now
live in wonderful Adelaide.
I am young at heart and still young in years
I live life to the fullest and hope with not too many tears.
I love my family at WWAUS and although we are apart by miles
We are not apart as such as are hearts and always together
I work in the world of finance which might not sound like fun
But when I am away from work
I like to let my hair down a little
And although my sissies may think I am quiet
That's not always the case.
As you know I might be the littlest
And thats why I can get away with the most.
I love my family here at WWAUS and I love life.
So this is a little about Kellie.
Some time I will tell you more.

Prompt & Response - August 2007
What piece of advice would you offer to other writers,
especially those afraid to put their feelings into words?
What do you consider to be your greatest asset as a writer?
Your greatest liability?
Who do you admire the most in the world of writing?
How does, or did, this person inspire you?
----------
The piece of advice I would give is
to really allow yourself to be natural and honest
when it comes to writing - allow whatever thought,
emotion or feeling to embrace you and put it down - no matter how bad
it might sound someone somewhere will enjoy it.
My greatest asset is my emotions - there are times
I can really allow this to fill me and allow me to write and yet
at the same time I can be too emotional and it can hinder me.
The person or people I admire most in the world of writings are
St Paul and St Peter - their letters in the bible
are the most beautiful and most outstanding writings
that have ever been writing or may ever be written - there are times
when I am feeling something and these letters can really speak to me
and inspire me to live to be the person I was created to be.
