Granddaughter's Home to God
Julia,Lindsay,Kathleen
My heart has an empty space,
For you are no longer here to embrace.
Crying over you, my heart needs filling--
I write this poetry to help keep fulfilling,
The thunder of my heart, beating so loud,
I send my love to you on a cloud.
On the wall your pictures are hung,
Keeping your memory forever young.
Free to play with animals frolicking everyday--
God is always there -- never does He go away,
The feast of home in Heaven you share,
God's blessed you forever with His care.
My memories of you will never fade,
In my blessed heart you are portrayed.
I know that one day, you will be greeting--
My homecoming to Heaven -- completing,
Never no never will we need to be apart,
God intended for us to be given a new start.
Remember, my granddaughters, the love I hold,
Will forever fill, my heart in etchings of pure gold.
Blessed with you for God's reason--
This poem sealed with my love for all seasons.
